ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER
Krofta Activated Carbon Filters (KACF) contains activated carbon granules of defined Iodine absorption values, which is determined based on the application.
Activated Carbon is highly porous and has a large surface area, providing ample area for adsorption, hence finer suspended solids, micropollutants and organic contaminants which are remaining after primary and secondary treatment are removed in this filtration method. KACF is also efficient in removing compounds which cause odour in the effluent, as well as free chlorine and colour. The treated water travels through the filtration nozzles and filter outlet.
