Spray Filter

The Krofta Spray Filer (SPRF) is designed especially for pulp and paper mill operations for fiber recovery. For best results, it is installed before Krofta DAF clarifiers as it aerates the effluent, making it more suitable for floatation. It consists of a filter media of mesh size between 75 – 500 microns, either to separate long fiber from clay and filler or as a safety filter for showers using clarified water. It is equipped with a self-cleaning shower so as to reduce the need for frequent cloth media cleaning and replacement.
